Flipped faces turn head-hair into beards in the creepiest way

German photographer Thorsten Schmidtkord has created these thoroughly disturbing portraits of people with flipped heads. He has kept the eyes and nose of his subjects stationary while inverting the skull making the hair on their head into a beard and losing the mouths somewhere along the way.

It’s fun to imagine what an entire race of these fellas would look like milling around a city on an average day… creepy.
