Stellenbosch-based design studio, Fanakalo, is taking us on an alphabetical journey through London from Abbey Road to the Zoo, with a different place to visit for every letter in between.
These cultural landmarks and some lesser-known spots include Dennis Severs’ House in Folgate street, the Imperial War Museum, the Kew Royal Botanic Gardens, the Oxo Tower on the south bank of the River Thames and King’s Cross railway station.
If you’re planning to make your way to the UK’s capital city – be it soon, or in the distant future – let this serve as your superbly illustrated guide.Fanakalo created the London Alphabet as a poster for Great Little Place (a crowd powered collection of nothing but the world’s greatest little places) and it’s available for sale in their online store.
