It's been 35 years since Apple ran an ad snarkily thanking IBM for finally joining them in building PCs. Now Tapit has recreated it in a dig at Apple's NFC move.
It's been a long time coming. With the launch of the new iPhone 6 came the announcement of the handset's greater NFC capabilities. NFC provider Tapit, has played homage to a classic ad run by Apple making a dig at IBM back in the early 80s, by creating its own ad addressed to Apple, giving it the long, slow clap as Apple finally gets into the NFC game.
A not so sly dig at the tech giant for jumping on the NFC bandwagon, an area Tapit has been working in since 2011. Take a look at both of the ads for yourself.
